Jesse Marsch has his first transfer window at Leeds this Summer and loan deals could be key for instant success in the upcoming campaign
Harry Winks
Harry Winks is a Central Midfielder with a vast amount of experience. The England international has made over 100 Premier League appearances since Mauricio Pochettino gave him his debut in 2016. The player has only started nine times for Tottenham last season and it looks pretty evident that Antonio Conte doesn’t fancy him. He produced the most accurate through balls per 90 minutes out of Midfield in the entire League with 0.4 and had 97 percent completion rate in progressive passes. There is clearly a very decent player there, one which Leeds should be keeping a close eye on.
Takumi Minamino
Takumi Minamino has had a season which has largely went under the radar. The Japanese international bagged 10 goals in 24 appearances last season, with many appearances coming of the bench. Minamino is way down in the pecking order at Anfield and will surely be frustrated with the lack of game time, especially with a goal record like that. The 27 year old has been a worthy attacking backup option for Liverpool since his move to the club two years ago. Minamino can play in the middle, on the wing and as a striker so he would be hugely beneficial for Jesse Marsch’s 4-2-2-2 system.
Ethan Colwill
Huddersfield had a fantastic season in the Championship with Ethan Colwill playing a vital role. The Terriers took him on loan from Chelsea and he helped push the side to the play-off final. The 19 year old made 30 Championship appearances and was the main factor why Huddersfield kept the second most clean sheets in the division. The Centre-back has already stated his focus on pushing for a position in Chelsea’s side next season but he will be facing fierce competition from Thiago Silva and Jules Kounde, who is close to securing a move to Stamford Bridge. A loan is the likely option and with Leeds having major defensive woes last season then it is surely worth a risk
