Yorkshire Voice Still_01

Postgrad trainee journalists begin just over two weeks of live web television broadcasting as part of their one-year Diploma course today.

As well as producing a daily edition of Yorkshire Voice, a live fifteen minute studio-based news magazine programme, the team will also be broadcasting news bulletins and regularly updating stories on the website with pictures and video reports.

Alongside finding the stories and filming and editing the reports, the team will also be handling all the studio equipment during the broadcasts. The Yorkshire Voice news service is being produced under a licence provided by the regulator OFCOM.

Yorkshire Voice will run over 12 days with the final programme being broadcast on Friday August 1st.
