Neil Diamond is performing at Leeds Arena tonight as part of his UK tour – and tribute act Johnny Dee is hoping to meet his idol for the first time.
The legendary bard who is responsible for such classic tracks as Sweet Caroline, Cherry Cherry and Girl You’ll Be a Woman Soon is touring all week across the country.
Multi-award winning Adel singer Johnny Dee is a tribute act who performs Diamond’s songs internationally, and hopes his VIP ticket for Blackpool may mean he finally get’s to meet the main man.
Johnny came into Yorkshire Voice today. He said “People told me I sound more like Neil Diamond than he does. I’ve been performing all over and these past six years have just been fantastic.”
Johnny also works with other tribute headliners such as Elvis, Billy Fury and Frank Sinatra.
