Leeds Dog Trust appeals to find new homes for 9-day-old puppies

A dog rescue centre is appealing to find new homes for eight lurcher puppies who have failed to bond with their mother.

The puppies, who were born to a stray dog at Leeds Dog Trust, will hopefully be moved into foster care within the next two weeks and stay with fosterers until a suitable permanent home can be found for them.

At the moment the puppies spend most of their days sleeping and will most likely open their eyes for the first time in the next couple of days.

Yorkshire Voice reporter Mark Kielesz-Levine was with the puppies – named Penguin, Panda, Squirrel, Bunny, Foxy, Mole, Monkey and Tiger – today during their feeding time.
