Preview: Bradford City vs Harrogate Town- Mangerless Bantams looking to bounce back in Yorkshire derby

Bradford City head into their 33rd game of the year with expectation of winning the Yorkshire derby against Derby.

Harrogate will have confidence heading into the game as their last win was against Bradford at home. Bradford are still getting to grips with their Caretaker manager Mark Trueman, who goes into their second game with the team.

Trueman said that he got high hopes for the team.

“It is my job to change the mentality from dropping off players to going up and playing higher with the line”, were the words of Trueman

Sulphurites boss, Simon Weaver, has high hopes for the bout against the Bantams, as he hopes his side can gain some early momentum to sink their opposition.

“It’s an aim of ours to be better and certainly in second halves as well. We’ve got our way of playing and it’s getting on the front foot, but to stay on the front foot and learn from experiences where we’ve been clawed back recently, we have to retain control in the game and that starts with being on the ball so that will be the aim.”

Both teams also have no players injured and head into the game injury free.

Predictions:

With Bradford having a home advantage, they can take the lead from there and hope to capitalise from their poor form.

Harrogate struggled to get into the defence of Bradford we can see a 1-0 win at Valley Parade.
