Vesper Road Convenience
Three masked men armed with knives robbed the Vesper Road Convenience store on Vesper Road, Hawksworth last night.
The incident took place at about 8pm.
The robbers threatened a female member of staff before stealing cash from the till and cigarettes.
Detective Inspector David Roberts, of Leeds District CID, said: “Although she was not physically injured in the incident, the member of staff was left quite badly shaken, as was a male customer who was in the shop at the time.
“We are conducting enquiries to trace the people responsible and we would like to hear from anyone who saw these men in the area around the time of the incident.”
