United fans praise Luke Shaw’s comeback as he signs new contract at the club

Manchester United have announced that full-back Luke Shaw has signed a new contract until 2023.

The club confirmed the new deal today, which will reportedly see the 23-year-old’s earnings rise from £100,000 to £150,000 a week.

Shaw suffered a set-back in 2016 when he broke his leg in a Champions League game against PSV.

Following his recovering, he was criticised by fans and United manager Jose Mourinho for being overweight and out of form.

However, Shaw has solidified his place as a regular left-back this season and United fans have praised his remarkable turnaround.
