25 arrests were made this morning following trouble between Leeds United and Eintracht Frankfurt fans in Austria last night.

Three Leeds fans and two policeman were injured following the ugly scenes that marred the preseason friendly which ended 2-1 to the Bundesliga outfit.

Trouble began before the game when around 50 Frankfurt fans refused to pay for a bus taking them to the stadium.

A Leeds fan was arrested for throwing a seat at security and the two sets of supporters had to be separated by police at the end of the game after Leeds fans went onto the pitch and approached the German supporters.

Leeds fans were then attacked outside the stadium before the trouble continued in the centre of Eugendorf where police were forced to use pepper spray to end the clashes.

Leeds United are expected to release a statement later today.
