Queens Park Rangers travel to Birmingham City’s St. Andrew’s with their sights set on returning to the top of the Championship. They currently sit two points behind Vincent Kompany’s Burnley with a game in hand. Birmingham are 15th in the table and can climb as high as 10th with victory on Friday night.
QPR boss Michael Beale has them in fine tune lately, winning five of their last six games, including away at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane. Beale will only have increased the spirits at the club when rejecting the manager’s job at Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Birmingham aren’t in bad form either with head coach John Eustace guiding them to seven points from a possible 12 in recent games.
